"A Muted trumpet is a good instrument for grief" Dick van Teylingen 21/09/2019
For the theaterpiece "Zusje" I was asked by Silke van Kamp to play trumpet and do sound design.
This piece is about grieve that splits a couple completely.
The text in this piece is a layer of abstraction since the communication between the two lovers is broken by the grieving process. Diving deep into these characters and sounddesigning the underlying emotional arch was the main goal here.
